Senior Eliana Dohlman, daughter of Matt and Melissa Dohlman holds a 3.9 GPA and actively participates in a multitude of both in-school and extracurricular activities, including Dance, Student Council, Speech, and Yearbook. Beyond her academic commitments, she dedicates her time to volunteering at the Sweet Corn Festival 5K, alongside her involvement in various school and church activities.
Looking ahead to the next academic year, Dohlman aspires to attend either Grandview or Central College, where she plans to major in Kinesiology, also known as exercise science. Among her current favorite courses, Yearbook and Ceramics allow her to use her creativity with drawing and editing, and she enjoys Pre-Calculus which offers her the opportunity to solve intricate math problems.
When asked about advice for fellow students, Dohlman encourages them to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new experiences, even when they seem scary. Her involvement in Speech has not only enabled her to become more outgoing but has also used her public speaking skills.
In honor of Dohlman, Kiwanis of Adel donated $50 to the ADM scholarship fund.
