Class of 2023! Your final year of high school is right around the corner which means all the fun senior things you have all been waiting for. One very important thing that comes along with senior year is getting your senior pictures taken. Below are some tips for getting your senior pictures taken to ensure your session goes smoothly and your pictures turn out great. While they aren’t required they are a great keepsake, so if you’re wanting to take senior pictures this coming year keep reading for some do’s and dont’s.
1. Tip number one- bring props! Senior pictures are all about you and don’t have to be just basic portraits. It is very common to intertwine sports with senior pictures, but get creative! Showcase your personality through the photos to make them even more wholesome and meaningful.
2. The earlier the better. I know senior year starting can be overwhelming and life seems full speed ahead. Senior pictures may be the last thing on your mind. The sooner you take your pictures the sooner you get them back and that is one less thing you have to worry about.
3. My third tip: arrive with poses in mind, basically have an idea of what you want your pictures to look like, and that way your look more natural on camera. Along with this, have different facial expressions ready so you don’t look the same in all of the pictures.
