September Kiwanis Student of the Month: Gabe Heitz
Gabe Heitz is the son of Eric and Ann Heitz, an ADM senior, and is being honored as one of the Kiwanis Students of the Month. His GPA currently sits at a 4.1 on a 4.0 scale.
His favorite classes include Marketing because Heitz likes learning about advertising and consumers. He loves lifting at school in Athletic Enhancement for the environment and the ability to be pushed by his teacher/coach. Next, he enjoys US History because learning more in depth about events he’s known or heard about intrigues him.
Gabe is involved in football, wrestling, and track in the athletic department at ADM. His advice for anyone looking to join is, “Work hard and good things will come of it, be a good leader and set goals.”
Outside of school, Gabe is on the leadership team for FCA and works closely with his church, St. Johns Catholic Church. Heitz’s passion and priority for his religion plays hand in hand with his attitude and mission statement, “Follow God and focus your sights on the end goal, which is to make it to heaven.”
Gabe has also been selected by his graduating class to be on the 2021 Homecoming Court as a nominee for King.
As Co-President of Student Council, Gabe has learned how to be a more effective and better leader. Some volunteer positions held by Heitz consist of Meals for the Heartland, ADM Youth Football Camp, Camp Invention, and Vacation Bible School.
He is planning to attend an undecided college and major in business.
Honored to be named Student of the Month, Gabe is glad to see his hard work pay off. He believes he has been chosen because of all the activities he is involved in and he does his best in every single one.
In honor of Gabe Heitz’s achievements, Kiwanis of Adel has donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
