Kennedy Luther, daughter of Steve and Jackie Luther, is one of the March Kiwanis Student of the Month. Luther has a 3.986 GPA and her favorite classes are Intro to Education, Leadership because of the movies, and her open period. After high school, Luther’s plan is to attend Iowa State and major in veterinary medicine.

Outside of class, Luther is involved in Cross Country and FCA. What she learned from those is lots of leadership skills and during cross country is to persevere from all the pain. Luther also does lots of volunteering at Lutheran Church of Hope. Luther’s advice to others for school or in life, in general, is to “be patient but persistent.”

Luther receiving the Kiwanis Student of the Month award thinks “It is a great honor and it shows my dedication and all my hard work paid off.” Luther thinks she got the award because she is very dedicated and a hard worker.

In honor of Kennedy Luther’s achievements, Kiwanis of Adel is donating $50 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
