Pottorff is recognized as January’s Teacher of the Month. Pottorff is thankful for students who voted for her.

January’s Teacher of the Month is Mrs. Pottorff. She teaches BioMed, and Biology at ADM High school, where she has taught 12 out of 25 years of teaching. Pottorff started teaching because she, “loves to help kids.” She chose the Sciences, and especially Biology because, “Biology is very interesting, and it has always been fascinating to me.”

Pottorff was nominated for Teacher of the Month by a handful of her students, but the ones that stood out were from online students. These students said that Pottorff is, “very attentive and helpful” for her online students, and creates a great environment for learning both in person and online. Pottorff said she was very honored to be recognized, and is thankful that her students, “took the time to fill out the recommendations” and it warms her heart to be nominated.
