Junior Michael Payne stands near the auditorium, where a very intense Jazz rehearsal had just finished.
Michael Payne, junior, has been honored as the Fine Arts Student of the Month for January. He is the son of Johnathan and Lisa Payne, and has been honored because of his exemplary performance in Jazz Choir.
He is involved in both ADM Singers, the varsity choir, and Amp, the varsity Jazz choir as a baritone and tenor. He thinks that everyone should participate in those activities because, one, it is very fun, and two, it is a place to belong. Being a Fine Arts Student of the month means a lot to Michael, as it shows that his hard work doing something that he loves is being noticed.
He thinks that he has been honored as a Fine Arts Student of the month because he works hard at what he does.
