January Teacher of the Month: Jamaica Reed
Jamaica Reed is one of the Teachers’ of the Month for January. She has been teaching for 12 years and this her second year at ADM. She was nominated by her students for being supportive and helping them to get caught up on their work.
She decided to become a teacher because of her passion for science but later found that she connected really well with students who struggled in school and that’s why she became a success teacher. When asked what being the teach of the month meant to her, she said, “It is special to me because it means that I’m doing my job and helping students to be successful.”
