This week I’ve been listening to a lot of upbeat music. Saint Motel’s music always brightens my day because they have fun, feel-good songs you can’t help but move to, so I included their song “Cold Cold Man.” “Love Like This” by Ben Rector is one of my favorite songs because the lyrics are meaningful and sweet and the piano accompanying Ben Rector’s singing is gorgeous. I’m really into pop-punk music, so I have music by Vitamin K and Bad Suns. I really love the open, honest lyrics and vibes off Lincoln’s album, In A Constant State of Ohio, and  I especially love the simplicity of “Saint Bernard” off this album. I have “Cough Syrup” by Young the Giant on here in honor of a childhood friend from my hometown that died in a car accident because him and I were going to cover that song.
