This week, I’ve been in more of a rock mood, so I have the more well-known bands Badflower, Papa Roach, Highly Suspect, Plus 44, and local bands, Awakening Force and Played Out, on this playlist. The emotion in their songs, especially “Promise Me” by Badflower and “A Song for Robert Frost” by Played Out, really make me feel the lyrics, and I live for music that can make me feel something. I’ve been listening to Weezer more lately since they released their newest song, “The End of the Game”, recently, and “Perfect Situation” is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I’m not usually into pop music, but I love the energy and lyrics of “8Teen” by Khalid. As always, I’ve been listening to Spanish music, and this week the emotional ballad, “Niño Perdido” by Alvaro Soler, has been stuck in my head.
