Konnor Chase is one of two Kiwanis Students of the Month for February. Chase is the son of Mindy and Eric Chase. He maintains a 3.065 GPA while participating in speech, choir, and  jazz choir. Additionally, Chase helps with the lighting crew for the drama department, takes voice lessons, and plays rugby for both the Adel and Des Moines club teams.

Chase was asked to explain his favorite part of being a student at ADM, and replied “Hm… learning at high levels? I’m kidding. I really appreciate the teacher dedication to students.” Chase’s favorite classes are AP Literature and Composition and Small Engines. He likes them, again, because “the teachers are awesome.”

Chase believes he was nominated because people see him as a good person and a role model. His advice to others is to “stay humble and don’t be afraid of criticism.”

In recognition of Chase’s achievements, Kiwanis of Adel is donating $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
