If you are heading to Disney World soon or maybe you are not going for a while but you are already so excited but you don’t know what to pack or what to do to get ready, I’m here to make it easier. Disney is the most magical place on earth, but packing for it, getting fastpasses, and planning your trip can get a little overwhelming. This is all of the stuff that needs to make its way into your suitcase for your trip….

  • Comfortable walking shoes- you are going to regret it if you do not bring comfortable shoes to walk around the parks in, and your feet will thank you if you bring the comfortable ones, not the really cute ones that always give you blisters.
  • A fanny pack- this is really convenient because it is so small but it can fit all the things you will need to bring into the park plus it is on your waist so no one can steal your stuff.
  • A small bag- if you aren’t into fanny packs, a bag is the way to go. It gives you a safe place to put all your stuff in such as phone, keys, hotel card, credit cards, jacket, and much more.
  • Poncho- if the forecast says that it is going to rain during your trip, a poncho is a good idea. A lot of people leave the parks when it rains and a lot of people wait in lines to buy a poncho when it starts raining, but if you bring one in the first place, you won’t have to worry about that. When it starts raining, put it on and keep dry, and run to the next ride and get in line before all the people who had to buy a poncho.
  • Shorts- Bring comfortable shorts because if you are going to be running around all day in the parks, you’ll want to be comfortable.
  • Light jacket- since it is Florida, it is usually really hot, but if you go during the winter months, it can get pretty chilly at night, so a jacket is not a bad idea.
  • T-shirts- obviously you are going need some shirts and Disney ones are more fun because in your pictures you will have more Disney spirit. It is also really easy to get a cheap shirt from Walmart or the Dollar Store and then you can print off a Mickey on an iron on transfer paper and iron it onto the shirt.
  • Mickey Ears- if you want to really get into it, you should bring Mickey ears. You can pick from a wide variety of choices to spice up your look for your day at the parks.
  • Water bottle- since Disney World is in Florida, it gets pretty hot so you will want to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. But don’t worry, if you forget one, Disney cast members have to give out free water cups at counter service restaurants.
  • Money- if you are not staying on Disney property, you will not have a magic band so you will need to bring actual money to pay for food and souvenirs.

These are the essentials for Disney World, you should be set to go have a magical time. Stay tuned for more Disney stories and how to run the parks!
