Rachel Hardy, daughter of Blake and Kerri Hardy, was one of the students selected for Kiwanis Student of the Month in October.

Hardy is currently a senior at ADM. Her favorite classes are Music Theory and choir because she is really into music, but she also enjoys English classes.

Being involved in Jazz Choir, Musical Theater, school plays and All-State Choir have helped her develop teamwork and communication skills.

Hardy volunteers with her church to help people around the neighborhood.

Hardy plans to attend Buena Vista University and major in music theory. Her advice to others is to take time on homework in order to fully understand it, and to take thorough notes in class.

Being Kiwanis Student of the Month is an honor to Hardy because it shows that she has worked hard during her high school career.

The Kiwanis of Adel is donating $50 to the ADM Scholarship Fund in recognition of Hardy’s achievements.
