Lucas Heitz  has been nominated as May boys track athlete of the Month. He is the son of Eric and Ann Heitz. Heitz is a junior this year.

Lucas has been participating in track since the 7th grade. Heitz loves track because “It’s different then team sports because, you can be in an individual event, then be in a team relay.”

To Lucas being the track boys athlete of the month means,”hard work pays off and if you believe in yourself  you can make it.”

Lucas believes that he has been honored as athlete of the month for boys track because “I work hard, show up early before we stretch, and try and be a leader and control the underclassmen.”

In recognition of Heitz’s efforts $100 from Mikes adel Power equipment has been donated to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
