Eco-Friends at ADM
ADM’s Ecology club, headed by McKenzie Gettler, faces the 2015-16 school year with gardens full of growing ideas and plans.
Ecology club is commonly overlooked by many for not having as large number of students as other ADM clubs.
However Mrs. Gettler, ADM’s newest science teacher, is hoping to bring her flowering students into the sunlight.
“We are excited to fill out forms and plant and mulch trees, we are also excited to participate in an Eco-Bowl,” said Hunter Gibson, president of ecology club on the subject of what fresh ideas they plan on introducing to the ecology club throughout the year.
In prior years, ecology club is credited for campus clean-ups and planting young saplings on school grounds, among other things.
Students in the ecology club hope to add a few new activities to the agenda this year, and make the 2015-16 the best year yet for the club.
