Abby Mullen is one of the Fine Arts Students of the Month for for November. Abby is the daughter of Laurie and Gary Mullen. In her four years of high school, Abby has participated in play, Speech, and band.

Mullen learned from these three activities to be more open with herself and to push herself to achieve goals. The lessons helped her achieve the positions of Thespian President for play and section leader for marching band.

Mullen encourages others to join play because “the people involved in the activities are genuine people and a lot more inviting; it’s more of a family than a team.”

“I’ve worked hard at what I do for four years now and it’s good to be recognized,” is how Mullen put into words the meaning of what Fine Arts Student of the Month is to her.

She speculates that she was selected because she gives pointers to her castmates in play and takes on a leadership role.

Lincoln Savings Bank donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation for Abby Mullen’s achievements.
