Being a student journalist taught me a lot, it opened my eyes to a lot of things I wouldn’t expect.

I got to meet and talk to a lot of new people and create some work that provided a lot of entertainment. It was nice to be able to write and inform the school of some issues or just hobbies that they didn’t know about. It was fun being able to write about things I was passionate about, and I never thought that I’d be able to write a story on World Of Warcraft. Mrs. Basinger taught me a lot in the ways to interview someone and think outside of the box to get the best possible answers and results. It made me work harder to develop stories that showed us things about students that we would never expect. People of ADM really tested how well I could show who someone is through one question and show a side of them people didn’t know about.

I’m very glad that I got the opportunity to take this class and honestly wouldn’t trade it out for anything else. I thank Mrs. Basinger for being the awesome teacher and the influence that she was, and I appreciate that she made us strive for greatness because she saw potential and never let us settle for less.
