Over the past couple of weeks, we have been holding a penny drive for Beat Cancer Today. Throughout these weeks each advisory put coins into buckets to add points and bills to subtract points. The goal of this was to raise $5,000 for Beat Cancer Today. But we overachieved this goal with $9,090.57, almost double the goal.

ADM junior and Student Council representative Nick Lindgren said, “It warms my heart that others were willing to contribute to a very good cause. I’m glad we had the penny drive. We almost raised $10,000, well exceeding our goal of $5,000 dollars.”

As for points, each top advisory in each grade got a pizza party and the winning grade overall got a movie day.

Juniors will celebrate being the winning class on Thursday with their movie day incentive.
