I Don’t Know What I Want to Do and That’s Okay
The most common question you hear as a high schooler is, “What are you doing after school?” Some seniors will respond with “college” or simply, “I don’t know.” Is that bad? Does that mean your life is a downhill spiral from here on out? No. Not knowing what you’re doing is perfect. It gives you the chance to take the world into your own hands.
In college, a majority of the students will change their major. ADM history teacher Charity Miller said she changed her mind three times in college until she figured out what she wanted to do. Sure it’s scary not knowing necessarily what you want to do, but it’s life. Sometimes you have to risk it for the biscuit.
Life is too short to rush into something you don’t want to do. Take some time to see what you want your life to be made up of. Have fun; don’t stress. Live a life people will envy. Do you.
