Coming back around at the speed of light with another movie review, this time I give you Marvel’s smash hit of the week: Doctor Strange.

Marvel has hit yet another home run with their newest comic to screen movie: Doctor Strange.  The movie starts out with an interesting plot setting that doesn’t get explained until much later but still draws you in very quickly. Its main character is reminiscent of Iron Man‘s Tony Stark, a kind of quirky character who ends up a hero. Some of the scenes are a little psychedelic and can leave you a little off put, but the plot is straightforward and simple with a good bottom line and lovable characters. Woven between the scenes of intense action and mind-bending physics, there are some heartwarming (and heartbreaking) scenes, but none too severe to make people cry rivers or any other bodies of water.

In conclusion, Doctor Strange is a very good movie. Like most Marvel movies, it was well-done and polished to a point. I would give it a score of an 8.5/10 .

While it’s not the best movie I’ve ever seen, I would still watch it again.
