For many years, the idea of a Winter Formal has been in the making. Finally, ADM is hosting a dance this winter. This is going to be the first Winter Formal at ADM.
The idea of a Winter Formal at ADM has been circulating through the Student Council for years. This year after finding a location to reserve, preparations were able to be made. Other than a location, The biggest goal for the Student Council was to reach enough funds and students willing to attend.
Advertising for the event has been ongoing since Homecoming. The Student Council has been looking for support and attendees. The goal was to have all of the tickets sold but knew they wanted to sell 300 tickets.
The Winter Formal is going to be very similar to Homecoming and Prom. The dance will be open to everyone, with the goal to give freshman and sophomore students a second dance during the year. The main differences for the Winter Formal are that it is being held in a location other than ADM and that it is in the winter.
Many are excited for the Winter Formal and hope that we will continue to have one in the years to come. The dance is going to be January 18 at the Country Lane Lodge. Find Mrs. Miller if you want to purchase a ticket.
