Devon Allbee teaches students in all grade levels from freshmen to seniors.

May 2024’s Teacher of the Month is Devon Allbee. Allbee teaches English 1, English 2, creative writing, contemporary lit and leadership 2. Allbee has been teaching for 6 years with all of her experience at ADM.

Allbee decided to become a teacher for various reasons.

“I grew up around a lot of teachers and have always been interested in going into a career where I get to help people.” She also mentioned that she chose to teach English because she has always loved stories. “I try to make English class a fun environment, it’s not always going to be fun, but I try.” She shared that she loves making strong connections with her students.

Being named Teacher of the Month means a lot to Allbee as it is her last month as a teacher in the district.
