Lincoln Savings Bank in Adel is moving locations. The empty lot previously occupied by Fuller’s is currently under construction to accommodate the new building.

The new location will be equipped with a drive-through, ATMs, and a bank parking lot, as well as having more than double the square footage as the previous building. One-third of the space towards the bike trail will be a “green space”; a covered area with a bike rack, as well as a small event space. Citizens of Adel can expect an improved banking experience in the new building.

LSB has had a location in Adel for three and a half years. The existing location by Brick Street Books & Cafe is currently rented by the bank.

Branch Manager Tim Canney commented, “I think a lot of people will realize that we’re committed to Adel, like [Lincoln Savings Bank] is planting roots in Adel.”

The construction will be done by spring of 2017.
