Senior Emma McDowell has been selected as November’s Fine Arts Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Carrie and Jason McDowell. McDowell has been involved with many speech and drama productions. She has also served as a student director for all the drama productions she has participated in.

Through her time in these activities, McDowell has learned that time and dedication can get her where ever she wants to go. She also believes that asking for help in the tougher times of her life has helped her a lot. She feels that more people should join Fine Arts activities because it can help people to open up and show their more expressive sides.

When asked what being a Fine Arts Student of the Month meant to her, McDowell said, “I do my best, and am happy to be recognized.” McDowell is proud that her commitment to all the activities that she is in has been seen.

In honor of her achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
