It has been two years, one month, and two days since the release of The Winter Soldier. For Marvel fans everywhere, the wait has been well worth it. Critics have been calling Civil War “near-perfect” and “the most mature and substantive picture to have yet emerged from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.” There’s a reason for all of this praise; Civil War has had the fifth biggest opening weekend sales of all time, making $181.79 million dollars.

The plot centers around the Avengers as they deal with the aftermath of three destroyed cities: New York, Washington and Sokovia. The Avengers team is decidedly undecided on whether or not the government should be allowed to hold them accountable.
