October Teacher of the Month is government and history teacher Hannah Mills. Mills believes that students in her advisory, government, and world history classes nominated her for this award. This is Ms. Mills’ first year of teaching at ADM and overall.
When asked why she became a teacher and why she chose to teach government and world history Mills said “I really enjoy making connections with students and staff. I really like that social studies has so many different topics, it is really important for seniors to be civilly educated so I enjoy teaching gov.” Finally, when asked what being named teacher of the month means to her, Mills said “This confirms that I am building great relationships with my students and starting the school year on the right track.”
