Mariah Armstrong is the September Teacher of the Month. Armstrong teaches Culinary Arts and Prostart classes at ADM High School.
She has been a teacher for 2 1/2 years now and is starting her 2nd year at ADM. Armstong decided to become a teacher becuase she enjoys it and likes what she teaches. “It’s always exciting,” she said.
She chose foods class because it teaches you real life skills, and enjoys cooking outside of school. Armstrong was nominated for a number of reasons by various students. Those being, she’s a great teacher, and has a great personality, she’s very nice and chill, makes class super fun and easy to learn, she’s understanding, cool, and funny.
To Ms. Armstrong, being the Teacher of the Month makes her feel appreciated and glad students enjoy her classes. She also said “It makes me want to keep doing my job”.
