May 2023 Girls Golf Athlete of the Month is Kendal Book. Book is the senior daughter of Kelli and Jason Book and has been playing golf for 3 years.

Book says she loves the ability to meet new people through golf and the tight bond that the girl’s golf team has. She loves all of the memories that the sport has provided her with. She says that being named Athlete of the Month for golf shows that her hard work has paid off and hasn’t gone unnoticed. When asked why she thinks she has been named Athlete of the Month Book said, “I think it’s because of my leadership on the team.” She also thinks that she has been given this title due to her commitment to the team.

In honor of her achievements, Adel Rotary Club has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
