April 2023 Boys Golf Athlete of the Month is sophomore Grant Jansen. Jansen is the son of Karen and Bryan Jansen and has been playing golf for over seven years.

When asked what he loves about golf, Jansen replied, “I like that it’s mentally challenging and takes a lot of focus and concentration.” He also said he liked that the sport progresses throughout the whole golf round and in order to do well you have to recover from bad shots and adapt. Being honored as Athlete of the Month is a great honor to him because he feels that his hard work has paid off to get him to this point.

“It sets me to a higher standard to perform and be a better player,” Jansen claims. He thinks he has been named Golf Athlete of the Month because he consistently performs well and had a good post-season performance last year.

In honor of his achievements, Cullen Howe Real Estate-RE/MAX Precision has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
