April 2023 Track Athlete of the Month is Sophomore Brayden Rynearson. Rynearson is the son of Melisha and Jesse Rynearson.

Rynearson has been involved in track since he was in eighth grade. Rynearson loves track, specifcally he loves “I just love the atmosphere, I mean you get to hang out with a bunch of people. You get to meet new people from different schools and you get to compete against them, and overall it’s just kinda fun cause you don’t have to focus on anything.”

Rynearson had never thought that he would ever have been nominated for Athlete of the Month but he believes that he has been honored as April Athlete of the Month because of his support for everyone on the team. “I talk to everyone, I mean I always acknowledge them, making sure they’re doing okay on the team, asking them how the feel, you know just checking up on them and seeing how their body feels with injuries and shin splints,” he said.

Rynearson was honored as Track Athlete of the Month by his coaches because of his undeniable support for his teammates, including Brycen Timmer. Timmers mother reached out to the coaches giving Rynearson a shout-out for being such a great teammate and friend.

In recognition of his achievements, Adel TV and Appliance has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
