Senior, Madalyn Walker is April’s student of the month. She is the daughter of Jay and Karen Walker. Walker has a GPA of 4.01 and her top classes are AP Music Theory, band, and ADM Singers.

Walker is involved in many activities, such as band, choir, jazz choir, marching band, large group speech, individual speech, Thespians, and drama. Walker also volunteers at the Metro Arts Alliance.

Walker’s advice to underclassmen is to “Do it with passion, or not at all.”

She is planning on attending Iowa State University for music education after she graduates.

Raccoon Valley Bank donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation in recognition of her efforts.
