Our December Teacher of the Month is Jamaica Reed.

Reed is currently in her seventeenth year of teaching and her fifth year here at ADM. She wanted to become a teacher to teach and inspire kids the same way they had for her in the past.

She began her teaching career as a science teacher but later switched to become an academic success teacher. She made the change when she realized she enjoyed all the subjects, but more importantly in order to help students identify their academic barriers and help them break through them to become their best selves.

Reed thinks that being named Teacher of the Month is special because it helps her to know that students are appreciating the difference and impact that she is making in their lives.
