All Dolled Up: FFCLA’s New Project
FCCLA Club is currently working on a project for Children’s Blank Hospital. They are sewing dolls made out of cotton to donate to the hospital; nurses and doctors will use them to show children where a certain procedure or shot will be. The dolls are meant to dispel any fear or anxiety that children may have in a big medical setting.
Sewing the dolls together is a simple process, and anyone can get involved. Students can gain community service hours by helping out in Ms. Harrell’s room. The project is ongoing, and will end some time in April. If you’re interested, contact any student in FCCLA or Ms. Harrell.
