December’s Fine Arts Student of the Month is Avery Miller. She is daughter to Richard and Charity Miller and is a senior this year.

Over the years, Miller has been in activities such as cheer, volleyball, track, soccer, National Honor Society, Student Council, Speech, Humanitarian Cord, Yearbook, and Quill & Scroll. From participating in so many activities, she has learned to get out and try new things, go out of her comfort zone, and make new friends. She has also recognized the importance of giving back to the community.

Miller has held positions in Yearbook as Editor-in-Chief and Social Media Director. She encourages other students to join Yearbook because it’s less of a class and more of a work environment. It helps you learn time management and meeting deadlines.

Fine Arts Students of the Month to Miller means that she is a hard worker and is being recognized for all the years she’s put into the program.

“I’ve put my heart and soul into this program for three years, and I put myself out there without shying away,” said Miller.

In recognition of her achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the Adel Scholarship Foundation.
