2022 December Dancer of the Month: Addy Reynolds

Sophomore Addy Reynolds is December’s Dancer of the Month. She is the daughter of Chrissy and Andy Reynolds and has been dancing since the age of three.

Reynolds loves that dance allows her to be herself and provides an outlet for emotions. To her, “it’s really cool” to be Dancer of the month, and it means that her hard work over her 12 years in dance is paying off.

“There’s a lot of really good girls on the dance team that, like help us grow stronger as a team,” Reynolds said, but she thinks she was chosen because she has sacrificed dance outside of the dance team. Her coach, Jana Morrissey, had many reasons why she decided to nominate Reynolds for this honor. She said Reynolds is always prepared for practice, works hard to make sure she performs all of her routines correctly, and choreographed her State Dance solo. “Addy leads by example on our team to show that in order to be the best you have to practice at your best,” Morrissey said.

In recognition of her achievements, Core Physical Therapy and River Valley Insurance have donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
