October’s Fine Arts Student of the Month is Kelsey Dalen. She is the daughter of Dewey and Kimberly Dalen and is a senior this year.

Dalen has been involved in Humanitarian Cord, National Honors Society, Theater and Band through her high school years. Being involved in these has taught her important lessons, specifically time management and how to be a leader.

She suggests that other students participate in Fine Arts Activities because, “It’s really fun, and you are able to try new things.”

To Dalen, being Fine Arts Student of the Month means that her hard work has been noticed, and she believes she is being honored for her improvements in band.

In recognition of her achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the Adel Scholarship Foundation.
