October’s Fine Arts Student of the Month is Senior Pierson Lee. He is the son of Shannon and Chad Lee. Lee is involved in cross country, choir, jazz choir, and the Raccoon River Conference Choir. He has learned through these activities to be “strong and independent” because he is “still an important part of it.”

As a captain of the cross country team and the section leader of the Tenors in choir, Lee said other people should participate in fine arts activities because “It’s fun to be able to get away from schoolwork” and “be yourself.” Being honored as Fine Arts Student of the Month is a “good accomplishment” to him and he thinks he was chosen “because I’ve really put in the work and effort.”

In recognition of his achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM scholarship foundation.
