A High Schooler’s Guide to Concert Going
Seeing that an artist will be performing in a location near you puts a sort of buzz in the air. But how are you going to get ready for the concert? What kind of bag will you bring? What will you wear? Should you bring a bottle of water? Fret not. All of your questions will be answered.
Concerts have a lot of security at the door and throughout the venue. Most concert security requires that bags be within a certain size, or clear. This is why I recommend investing in a small, concert-approved, clear bag. These bags pass through security quickly and easily with no problems at all. I recommend this bag on Amazon.com. I have taken this bag to many concerts, and have passed right through security.
In order to know what to wear for a concert, I recommend checking the artist’s album covers for some outfit inspiration. You could also check the artist’s Instagram to see what people that attend the concert have been wearing. From there, compile an outfit that combines the style of the artist, and the style of the people attending the event. Then, you’re all set!
Attending a performance can be very tiring. Attendees require lots of water to enjoy the event and keep dancing through the night. Security checks can be tough when it comes to water bottles. They don’t like outside food or drink, and they don’t like liquid that didn’t come from a reliable source. So just to be safe, I like to bring an extra $5 in my bag to make sure that I can afford water for me and my friends to share.
Regina Bermudez said that when she attends concerts, she prepares in a bunch of different ways. Bermudez said, “when you are driving long distances you have to bring water… a phone charger, and a mask.”
To wrap things up, concerts require a lot of preparation, but the end result is well worth the hustle. Just don’t forget a few basic items, and you’ll be all set for a fun night full of wonderful music and great dancing.
