Last night’s annual Pops Concerts for the high school choir was a hit. With many amazing acts and a lot of talent, the show was worth the watch.

Spencer Evoy sang “When We Were Young” by Adele, along with Melody VerWoert also singing another hit song by Adele, “Rolling in the Deep.” The two hit the show off, setting high expectations for the rest of the night.

Senior Jonathan Norris had many in the crowd tapping their toes. His outstanding performance of  “Lisa” was upbeat and fun to listen to. He was very comfortable on stage and without a doubt was the best performance of the night.

The mixed choir ended the show with songs from Wicked. This fantastic show, directed by Greg Woodin, was one I would go see again in a heartbeat. The ADM High School Choir has a lot of talent and many individuals who have a voice to be heard by more than just a crowd of 300.
