Jackson Banwart, Son of Bart and Leslie Banwart, has been honored as January’s Fine Arts band Student of the Month.

He is the Section Leader for Percussion and is a Senior this year. He believes he is chosen for this month is because he has been a steady leader that is willing to engage with everyone, not just his section. Being a Fine Arts Student of the Month means a lot to Jackson because he feels it is nice to be recognized for his hard work. When asked why people should join band, Jackson answered with two reasons; It’s a good way to expand your horizon and it diversifies your activities.

in recognition of his achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
