Lenaya Sams, daughter of April and Quint Sams, was given the honor of Dancer of the Month for December. Sams is in 10th grade and has been dancing since she was 3. She decided on ADM dance because she thought “ADM dance would be fun,” and she ended up making a lot of friends. Sams enjoys the different styles of dance that she can participate in, as well as the uplifting and supportive atmosphere. She also really enjoys the attitude other dancers have toward mistakes.
Sams said being a Dancer of the Month is a “great honor” because she has always strived to achieve this goal. She also feels like she’s “been seen” by the other dancers.
In honor of her achievements, Core Physical Therapy and River Valley Insurance has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
