Kiwanis Student of the Month- Averi Brady
Averi Brady, Daughter of Todd and Audra Brady was honored as the Kiwanis Student of the Month for December. Sporting a GPA of 4.0, Brady has enjoyed choir, art, and honors English 2 during her time in high school. She is involved in a large number of activities, including theater, choir, jazz choir, International Thespian Society, Speech, NHS, and solo ensemble contest. Brady feels her extracurricular activities have “prepared her for the work world” because she has to prepare speeches for some of her activities, namely NHS.
Brady spends her free time helping the community through volunteer work. She volunteers through her church, school, and other events to aid in her Humanitarian Cord. She hopes to attend a private catholic college for a major in communications.
Brady tells others to “know what your priorities should be” and “don’t put too much on yourself.” She feels that she has earned this position because she has worked hard, done lots of activities, and been a leader inside and outside of the classroom.
In honor of her achievements, Kiwanis of Adel has donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
