Clayton Gustafsonson, son of Brian and Kristin Gustafson was honored as a Fine Arts Student of the Month for the month of October.
Gustafson is involved in AP Art, band, jazz band, swimming, and track. In those activities, he’s learned the importance of being a “good leader,” and “good listener,” and he’s learned the importance of coming prepared and working hard. He also feels that people should join these activities because “they are a lot of fun and there are a lot of fun people that participate in them.”
Gustafson also holds the role of a section leader in both band and jazz band, as well as an active member in band council.
When asked what it means to be a Fine Arts Student of the Month, Gustafson responded by saying “it means a lot to be recognized for something that I’ve participated in for most of my life, and something that I put a lot of effort into.”
Finally, Gustafson believes that he was honored as a Fine Arts Student of the Month because he acts as a good role model and leader for younger students in band.

In honor of his achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
