Teacher Feature: Meet Mr. Bohlke
Last year’s retirement of many ADM teachers called for many new teachers. Tyler Bohlke took the place of Anita Vasto. He teaches Chemistry, Biology, and a PLTW class.
This is Bohlke’s first year teaching and he’s gotten very involved. Bohlke helped coach the football team last fall and encourages students to participate in a strength and conditioning program.
Bohlke grew up in Le Mars, Iowa, and later attended the University of Iowa for two years and transferred to the University of Northern Iowa for his last three years of college. He enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, cross fit and fitness.
“I started lifting weights when I was twelve and just liked the training aspect of it,” said Bohlke.
Bohlke says he likes the school and thinks it’s great so far and likes that the teachers really care about the students here.
