Kashish Patel, Daughter of Rupul and Chintan Patel, is March’s Kiwanis student of the month. She has a GPA of 3.78 and plans to attend Iowa University next year to study Pre Medicine. Her favorite three classes in high school have been Pre Calc and other math classes, Biomedical Sciences as well as Psychology, where she thought it was “really interesting learning about how people behave and why.”

Throughout her high school career, she has been involved in cheerleading, student council, speech, and mock trial.  Through those activities, she has learned good teamwork and communication skills. She spends her time volunteering at Children’s Connections and at Meals for the Heartland. Kashish’s advice to others is “don’t worry too much, work hard. Enjoy what you have.” Being Kiwanis Student of the Month means to her that her hard work has paid off. She believes she has been honored because she works hard and gets her work done.

In honor of her achievements, Kiwanisis of Adel has donated $50 to the  ADM scholarship foundation.
