Mrs. Whisner was nominated for February teacher of the month for 2021. She was nominated by a student because she goes out of the way to help them with homework. Whisner has been a teacher for 38 years, and has been a teacher at ADM for 13. When asked about how long she’s been teaching, she asked “what’s 25 + 13?” She was adding up her time as a substitute teacher and her time as a teacher at ADM.

Whisner decided to become a teacher because she enjoys working with students and having one on one time with them, along with helping her students understand their academic studies. She feels very appreciated about her nomination as a teacher of the month, and ended her interview with a smile.
