Bella Benetti, daughter of Marco and Jodi Benetti, has been honored as one of the Kiwanis Students of the Month for December. She has an outstanding GPA of 4.073 and has worked hard to maintain it.

Her favorite classes include Principles of Biomedical Science, Leadership, and Pre Calc. She enjoys Principles of Biomedical Science because it contains “lots of fun medical stuff”, leadership because they played lots of fun games and learned a lot, and Pre Calc because she enjoys math a lot.

She has been involved in other activities as well as her challenging courses. She has played on the volleyball team, where she said that she learned about teamwork and determination. She also is involved in NHS, where she said that she learned the importance of academics and being a leader within the community. She also volunteers at church and the ADM booster club.

For the future, she plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa for biology, and after, she wishes to go to Allen College to pursue a career in nursing.

For advice for others about how to lead a successful life, she said, “Give 100 percent to everything you do and don’t procrastinate, and get your work done on time.” When asked about what being honored as a Kiwanis student of the month means to her, she said, “It’s nice to be recognized for all the hard work I put into my academics.” She believes that she has been given this honor due to her hard work in all of her classes.

In honor of Benetti’s achievements, the Kiwanis of Adel has donated 50 dollars to the ADM scholarship fund.
