Geneva Timmerman is the daughter of Kim and David Timmerman. She’s in 10th grade, but she’s been running in cross country since 7th. Timmerman loves doing cross country because it’s a team effort. She believes that you have to do the sport to understand the difficulty, but when you run as a team the group understands the effort. She’s proud to be the cross country runner of the month because she feels that it is a great honor to “be the face” of the team. Timmerman believes she was chosen for this honor because of the support she gets from her teammates and her coaches. To quote, “I can’t do it without them.”
