Kalie Dalen is one of September’s Fine Arts Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Dewey and Kimberly Dalen and is starting her senior year. Her favorite classes are Band, AP Music Theory, and Spanish. After high school, she plans on going to college to study Music Therapy.

Kalie is involved in band and choir here at ADM. Something she has learned from those activities is good leadership. An important position she has held in Band is Section Leader.

When asked why people should participate in Fine Arts activities she said, “You learn good life skills and meet new friends. Playing music is also a lot of fun!”

Kalie is honored to a Student of the Month, “It’s nice to be recognized” she said. This is her fourth year participating in Band.

In honor of her achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
