Senior Molly Jacobsen, is November’s Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Karen and Joel Jacobsen. Jacobsen has a GPA of a 4.0 and her top classes are PLTW Medical Interventions, Spanish, and Government.

Jacobsen is involved in Softball, Basketball, FCA, Big Sister, Math Club, National Honor Society, and SADD. She also volunteers at the Elementary School and De Soto Intermediate for Big Sister and Math Tutoring.

Jacobsen’s advice to underclassmen is to be kind, don’t be afraid to ask for help, and enjoy high school because it flies by.

She is planning to attend the DMACC campus in Boone to play softball and will be attending their pre-med program this fall.
