Let’s Be Still is a tremendous album by The Head and the Heart. THATH is an underrated indie band with an acoustic sound that appeals to anyone with a mellow ear. When listening to this album, you can hear a wide variety of sounds that are very different but somehow still cohesive. Their lyric quality is incredible; they are very deep and interesting in the reality they express with their songs.

My favorite song on Let’s Be Still is titled “Josh McBride.” The lyric of this song will resonate with anyone who has lost someone close to them, whether it be through a breakup, a fight between friends or even something as drastic as a death. Overall, this band has a very fresh and real way of facing problems and the world, and this is shown in their music.
